My Da started to paint down here in the late 1980's, by this stage dereliction was beginning to show the small factory's were moving out ,expanding, so was the economy.I painted a few scenes in the early 1990's, this scene much later in 2014. A chap was admiring my work I asked him if he would like"jump in " ,he laughed. He told me his da was an artist,I asked his name " Owen Walsh".He exhibited in the watercolour society exhibitions, along with my da and others.I remember him clearly, a great artist.
